Welcome to the inaugural issue of the Devonshire Real Estate Quarterly, your ultimate guide to the local real estate market of this wonderful community. As both a local resident and real estate agent, I am excited to keep you updated about everything real estate in Devonshire. Despite a disappointing 2023 for home prices, Devonshire offers the perfect blend of community, growth and value.

How to read this chart: As housing is a long-term asset, we show the long-term equity gains from the median home purchase in Devonshire by year of purchase. The homeowner experiences equity gains over the long-term, while year-to-year price changes are less predictable.

As the community grows, Devonshire continues to invest in improving its roads and sidewalks. Nearby road expansion projects are expected to reduce commute times to major employment centers within the county and beyond. Most major roads such as Highway 80, FM 548, 1641 and 740 are owned by the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), which has $1.4 billion of projects scheduled to begin in Kaufman County in the coming years.
